Today

April 14, 2011 by natalie

Today I am healthy in body and mind.
Today I live in a free country full of opportunity.
Today I have the conveniences of modern technology.
Today I have finances and resources at my disposal.
Today I am surrounded by loving family and friends.
Today is the day God has given me to serve Him.
Today must not be wasted.

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.”
~Deuteronomy 6:5-6

Love this. Thank you for the simple and yet beautiful post to encourage my day. I wish we could have visited more at MTNA but at the same time it was wonderful to meet and connect with new people.

Thanks, Amy! Maybe if I make it to your area we will have more time to catch up with each other!

    Natalie,
You are right, today must not be wasted. If you could do it today, why put it off until tomorrow, God gave us today to reflect on what we have done yesterday so that we could learn how live and serve him better tomorrow, and the days to come.
